Kitchen

The kitchen display (/kitchen) shows orders in three columns, Pending, Preparing and Ready, and updates on its own whenever the point of sale or the QR menu sends something new. The same screen lives inside the point of sale, on the Kitchen tab, for venues where one person serves and cooks.

This section covers:

• How orders advance with Start Preparing, Mark as Ready and Mark as Delivered.
• New rounds on an order that is already in the kitchen.
• Notices about changes made at the register, such as items removed from a bill.
• Printing kitchen tickets, automatically or with Print ticket.
• How to turn the kitchen view off if your business does not need it.
